Hardware requirements for Live
This article documents the system guidance and recommendations for the installation of Aeros LIVE
Deployment Methods
The applications can be installed through a standard client server setup, or through a Terminal Services
or Citrix Xen App model. This guide does not include backup or disaster recover guidance. Depending on
infrastructures and needs this guidance can be varied, therefore Aeros recommends a consultation on
backup and DR options.
Workstations
Microsoft Windows 10
Intel Dual/Quad Core 2 GHz
2 GB RAM (minimum)
1000MB NIC
200 MB Hard Disk Space
1280x1024 or Greater Resolution
Database Server Recommendations
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (minimum)
Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Standard (minimum)
Intel Xeon E5 (or greater) 2GHz or faster
16 GB RAM
A good rule of thumb is to reserve 1 GB of RAM for the OS by default, plus an additional 1 GB for each 4 GB between 4-16 and another 1 GB for every 8 GB installed above 16 GB.
What this looks like in a server with 32 GB RAM is 7 GB for your OS, with the remaining 25 GB dedicated to your SQL Server.
What this looks like in a server with 16 GB RAM is 4 GB for your OS, with the remaining 12 GB dedicated to your SQL Server

Data files on One Drive
Log files On Another Drive
100 GB Solid State Drive
TEMPDB setup on this drive for Performance
Virtualization/Application Server Installation:
The following Citrix / Terminal Services server requirements exist (based on 10-20 concurrent users). For
application load balancing one server is recommended for every 10-20 concurrent users depending on your
specs and their usage.
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Enterprise Edition 64-bit
Intel Xeon E7-88xx (or greater)
16 GB RAM
1GB per Concurrent User whichever is Greater plus 4GB for the OS
1000MB NIC
Two 100 GB Hard Drives (Raid 1)
