Equipment can be set up through Aeros LIVE’s Equipment form and associated with various entities throughout the software.  There are three equipment sections: Egg Processing Plant Equipment, House Equipment and Flock Equipment.  Below is a screen shot of the Equipment form.  The form used to add either House or Flock Equipment is the same.

Details

To add new equipment, click the Add New button and enter the following information into the form.

  • Equipment Code:  The corresponding Equipment Code.

  • Description: The description of the Equipment.

  • Status: Whether the equipment is currently active or inactive.This field will default to the system default of active.

  • Equipment Type: Allows you choose an available equipment type from the drop down list. Equipment Types can be set up by navigating to Systems, System Settings and selecting House or Flock Equipment Types from the System Types Tab.

 

Manufacturer: The manufacturer of the equipment

  • Model:  The model of the equipment

  • Capacity:  The capacity of the equipment.

  • Units:  The unit of measure for capacity.

 To save your changes click the Save button to add the new equipment or to update existing equipment after editing.

 

 

Flock Equipment

  1. Create new equipment in the flock equipment form. See above for details.

  2. Add that equipment to a flock. See Flock Section for details

House Equipment

  1. Create new equipment in the house equipment form.  See above for details.

  2. Add that equipment to a house.  See House Section for details.

Cage Dimensions

When cage is selected from Equipment Type a new tab will appear to set the dimensions of the cage.

  • Width. Enter the width of the cage.

  • Depth. Enter the depth of the cage.

  • Square Area. The square area of the cage will calculate based on the dimensions entered above.

  • Front Height.

  • Back Height.

  • Dimension UOM. The Unit of measure used to measure the cage dimensions.

  • Maximum Capacity. The maximum capacity of animals for this cage.

  • Minimum Capacity. The minimum capacity of animals for this cage.

 

Egg Processing Plant Equipment

  1. Create new equipment in the Egg Processing Plant equipment form. See above for details.

  2. Add that equipment to a flock. See Flock Section for details.

 Egg Grader Configuration

When Egg Grader is selected from Equipment Type a new tab will appear to set the configurations of the Egg Grader.  Enter the Configuration for the grader here.  This will determine how the Grade-Out batch form is configured.

  • Egg Matrix Configuration. Select the Egg Matrix table this equiment uses from the drop down list.

  • Egg Grader Units. The unit of measure for the Egg Grader.

  • Supports Inline Eggs. Select this checkbox if this Grader supports Inline Eggs.

  • Supports Offline Eggs. Select this checkbox if this Grader supports Offline Eggs.
