Configure the Classic Migration Application

When implementing a new client that is migrating from CMC, the Classic Migration application is used to import AP Historical Data. The tool converts the CMC Database to a MS SQL Database that can then be used by the import scripts.

Pre-Requisites

  1. Access to the FTP Site

  2. Installation of the CMC ODBC Drivers

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access the Server where you wish to install the CMC Extract application.
     

  2. Create a new folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Cultura\ClassicMigrate.


  3. Download the all of the files in the files from the FTP Site under the Classic Migration \ Tonys Awesome App folder to the newly created folder.


     

  4. Optional: If desired, create a Shortcut of the Classic Migration application by right clicking on the Aeros.Classic.Migration.exe file and selecting Create shortcut, then move the shortcut file to the desktop.




  5. You are now ready to use the Classic Migration application.
