Grid Auto-Filter Rows

This document describes the usage of the Auto Filter rows made available in several grid views within Aeros ERP, Aeros LIVE, Aeros Connect, and Aeros Vision.

The automatic filtering row allows data to be filtered on the fly - by typing text within a row. When a user types text within a row, a filter condition is automatically created based upon the value entered and this is applied to the focused column. The automatic filtering row is displayed at the top of a Grid View.

In the following image the 'Cha' string is entered within the 'Product Name' column in the auto filter row. The grid automatically displays records that contain values in this column that start with 'Cha':

Clearing text from the auto filter row's cell will remove the corresponding filter.

Note: When the top data row is focused, a user can move focus to the auto filter row by pressing the CTRL+UP ARROW key.
