Inventory Usage Adjustment

The Inventory Usage Adjustment function allows you to use inventory.  It will subtract the amount used from your available Qty and Pack.

Pre-Requisites

1. Inventory

2. Adjustment Codes

Access the Inventory module.
Click Inventory Usage Adjustment.

Open

Specify the Inventory Type.
Optional: Enter the Item Code or click on the ellipsis to return a list of items for that Inventory Type.  If you leave it blank, it returns available inventory for all items in type.
Select an Inventory Location.

Specify a Post to Period accounting period.
Specify an As of Date.  This will return inventory as of that date and the usage you enter will occur for this date.
Click Retrieve.

Open

Click on Usage Qty or Usage Pack column in the row

Specify either a Quantity or Pack value.  It should auto-calculate the other.

Select an Adjustment Code on the line.

Click Save and Close.

You have now used inventory for an item as of a date.
