Egg Transactions
The Egg Transactions option appears in the production section of the live inventory options tab of the ribbon bar for the following industries: Broiler Breeders, Commercial Egg, Commercial Egg Breeders, and Turkey Breeders.
Egg Shipment
Placement House. The placement house that the Egg shipment if coming from.
Shipment Date. The date of the Egg Shipment.
Receipt. You can enter in a Receipt number here if one applies.
Egg Type. Select the Egg Type for this Egg Shipment.
Add. Enter the quantity of Eggs in the shipment.
Subtract. Here is where you will enter amounts for adjustments for payments.
Units. Select the unit of measure that is associated to the Egg Shipment Quantity.
Comments. Enter any additional notes or comments regarding this Egg Shipment transaction.
Source. Here the system will tell you how this record was entered. It could be a manual entry or came over from AAI from your systems Accounts Payable or Journal Entry system.
Identity. This is the ID that this record is assigned in the table.
Adjustment Of. Select a record ID if this record is an adjustment for another entry. Adjustments are helpful when accounting lock dates are in place and you cannot change the record itself.
Adjustment Amount. The amount of the record that was adjusted.
Egg Production
Placement House. Select the Placement house the Eggs were produced in.
Date. Select the date the eggs were produced on.
Quantity. Enter the quantity of eggs produced.
Units. Select the units that is associated to the quantity eggs produced.
Egg Type. Select the type of egg that was produced.
Case Weight. Enter the case weights for the eggs produced.
Gravity. If you have Egg Gravity amounts, you can enter those here.
Comment. Enter any additional notes or comments regarding this egg production transaction.
Egg Sub Types
You can record additional egg sub types in egg production to record specific egg types such as floor eggs, chex, bloods, etc. You can have up to 5 additional types. The columns can be configured in System Settings.
System → System Settings → Egg Sub Types
In reports, the calculation will be referred to as subtype1, 2, 3, 4, 5 rather than the configured name.
Egg Inventory
Placement House. Select the Placement house this egg inventory record is for.
Date. Select the date this egg inventory record was taken on.
Receipt. You can enter in a Receipt number here if one applies.
Quantity. Enter the amount of eggs for this Egg Inventory record.
Units. Select the units that is associated to the quantity of eggs in Inventory
Egg Type. Select the type of egg that this inventory record is for.
Comment. Enter any additional notes or comments regarding this egg inventory transaction.
Sample Case Weights
If you are taking multiple case weights you can record those on this form instead and the average for the day/week will be taken.
Placement House. Select the Placement house the sample weight is taken from.
Date. Select the date the sample weight was taken.
Quantity. The quantity of egg samples that were taken.
Egg Units. What the unit of measure for the eggs for the sample.
Sample Weight. The total sample weight of the egg.
Tare Weight. Tare weight of the sample taken if any.
Weight Units. The unit of measure used for the sample weight of the egg.
