Performance Charts using System Table Sets

Introduction

This article explains how System Table Sets are used in AeLive to view Performance Charts.  In AeLive, standards may be defined for any type of animal statistic by using our System Tables (percent hen day production, lbs/100/day, calorie consumption, body weights, mortality, etc.)

Through Performance Charts, actual group data is plotted on a chart to show animal performance.  Additionally, data from the System Tables assigned to each group is shown against actual animal performance data.  If you wish to view a different group of system tables against any group, utilize System Table Sets as explained in the remainder of this document.

Steps to create additional system tables

To view Performance Charts with your group data plotted against a different set of system tables than are assigned to your group, the following steps must be completed:

1.      Set up a System Table Set. This is where you can set up different types of tables for additional standards per industry type per cycle.

2.      Select the System Table Set you want to view in the Performance Chart options tab.

3.      Select a group and the type of chart you want to view.

The following pages explain these steps in detail.

Steps to create System Table Sets

Navigate to System Table Sets through System --> System Table Sets.

After selecting System Table Sets from the System Menu, you will see the following screen:

1. Select Add New.

2. Code. Key a unique code for the System Table Set.

3. Description. Key a description for the System Table Set.

4. Industry Type. Select an Industry Type

5. Select the Cycle tab you want to set your tables up in.

6. In the grid, each row is a different System Table Category, select the System Table Type you want to use within the Category row and select the System Table you want used.

Steps to view System Table Sets in Performance Charts

1. Click and select a  Group in the Live Inventory list

2. Click on Performance Charts from the ribbon bar in Live Inventory Options

3. Click on the Options tab to select a new System Table Set.

4. Click on the Statistics Tab and select the desired Chart.  The chart will display with actual group data against the standards contained in the selected System Table Set.

1. Once the Performance chart is closed, or any flock is clicked on the list, the Performance Charts will revert back to the default charts as they are set on the Group Form.
