Feed Formula Pricing
Pre-requisites
Formula Pricing Config
Go to Feed Management --> Feed Mills
Select or create a Feed Mill and go to the Formula Pricing tab.
Select an effective date for the pricing to take effect.
If you are pricing deliveries in the past please make sure to get your date far enough back.
If no formulas are coming back, make sure that the feed mill is assigned to the Feed Formulas used at that mill.
You can then enter pricing for the feed type code and it will price all formulas underneath it that price OR
You can enter pricing for each individual formula under each feed type
Save and close the form
Formula Pricing Batch
Go to Feed Management --> Feed Formulas --> Create a Formula Pricing Batch
Go through the wizard
Step 1: Select the start and end date of the feed deliveries you would like to pull
Step 2: Select the Companies you want to include in the batch
Step 3: Select the Divisions you want to include in the batch
Step 4: Select the Industries you want to include in the batch
Step 5: Select the Industry Types you want to include in the batch
Step 6: Select the Feed Mills you want to include in the batch
Step 7: Select the Feed Types you want to include in the batch
Select Finish
After it processes it will bring up the following screen:
This is going to pull up all the deliveries for the date range you entered and fill in the new price for the formula.
All deliveries you want to update, make sure that Accept is checked on the form.
You can also manually change any of the pricing from this form by editing the Update Price field for the record you want.
Once you are done checking the form, you can then commit the pricing update.
Example:
I committed the deliveries in the screenshot below.
If I go to that flock and go to its feed deliveries and I can see that the delivery pricing was updated for the date of 8/8/13.
Troubleshooting
If no feed types show up, then you will need to make sure to apply your feed mill to the feed deliveries on the flock.
Also, make sure the Feed Mill is the default on the farm.
