Ending Feed

Track the ending feed as inventory is taken.  This is crucial in accurate feed scheduling as well as used in calculating accurate consumption.

  • Placement House. Select the house the ending feed record is taken for

  • Bin. Select a bin if there is a bin associated.

  • Date. The date the ending feed inventory was taken.

  • Hour. The time that the ending feed inventory was taken.  It can be important that you have the correct times.  If you had a feed delivery come in at 5pm but you took inventory at 1pm, and entered ending feed time at 6pm this can cause consumption to be off and the amount of feed you have incorrect.

  • Ending Pounds. The amount of feed you have in the house for the flock.

  • Comment. You can enter comments for each record if needed.



There must be an ending feed inventory or a feed return at the end of the flock to ensure correct consumption.
