Feed return pricing allows the user to price return feed based off of prior delivery prices.

Feed Delivery

A Feed return delivery record must exist.  This might come from your feed delivery ticket or loadout and be directly imported into the system.

To manually create:

Select flock from Live Inventory > Feed Delivery

Select’ Feed Return’ from the ‘Delivery Type’ dropdown

Insert the house, date the feed was returned, the formula and pounds of feed returned and the save the record.

Feed Management > Feed Return Pricing

Enter the company, Division and Farm from the filter in Step 1.  It will search for feed returns that have not been priced.

In Step 2, all feed returns that have not been priced will appear in this section.  Select the feed return you want to price.

In Step 3, you will select the feed delivery best associated with the return.  The cost on that delivery will be the cost your feed return will use.

 Once you selected your feed delivery, select ‘Price’

You will get the following message informing you of the new price (in pounds)

Select ‘Yes’ to continue or ‘No’ to return to the feed return pricing form.

Once confirmed, that feed return will be priced and drop off of the list in Step 2.

Now if you go back to the flock’s feed delivery form, you will see that the feed return priced as a negative cost.
