Vendor Master Screen
Go to the Vendor Master screen and create a new vendor or select the vendor that is going to be sent to Ovotrack.
Although the address, phone number, email, etc. are on this screen, they are not sent to Ovotrack. The only fields on this screen that are sent are the name and short name. The other fields are in the Define>Contacts menu.
Contacts Screen
Here you can enter in fields such as address, phone number, and email that will be sent to Ovotrack. Note that these fields are all optional, but if you want them to transferred, the Contact Class must be set as Ovotrack.
CONNECT Steps
Sync Data
Find the Sync Data module and select New Batch option for Vendors
The vendor will be triggered to pull into a batch when a change has been made in the Vendor Master or the Contacts screen. Therefore the date and time in the Source Last Modified Date must be set to a date/time BEFORE a change was made in the Customer Master or Contacts screen.
Ex: If you added fields to Contacts on 8/7, you could set the date to 8/6.
You can then click the Import/Create Batch button and the vendor should appear in the Staged Records tab.
Mark the check box next to any vendors you want to commit, and click the Commit Batch button at the top of the screen.
If the commit was successful, the Vendor will be grayed out and the Commit Date field will be populated.
You can review the results of the commit in the Commit Messages tab. If there were any errors, they will be displayed here.
