Create Inventory Legends

Use the Inventory Legend Format Maintenance screen to create a new Inventory Legend Format.

Note: This is generally a one-time setup configuration and never modified. Please consult your Implementation Specialist or the Customer Support Department before making any modifications. 

Note: It is recommended that there is never more than one Inventory Legend Format configured in the system. No legend will blow up the Order Confirmation reporting.

Pre-Requisites

1. None

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Master module.
    

2. Select Inventory.
   
   
   

3. Select Inventory Legend.
   
   

   Open

   

   
   
   

4. Click Insert.
   
   

   Open

   

   
   
   

5. Specify a Format Cd/Status value. For example: 1
   
   

   Open

   

6. Under the SKU Column, 1 option, enter the value of "Item #" (without the quotes).
   
   
   

7. Under the Inventory Heading column change Case No. to Lot #.
   
   
   

8. Click Save.
