Price Basis Codes

In order to use the pricing functions based upon inventory values and/or formulas, it is necessary to setup Price Basis Codes.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Master module.
   
   
   

2. Click Pricing.
   
   
   

3. Click Price Basis Codes.
   
   
   

4. Click the Add button in the ribbon bar.
   
   
   

5. Specify a Code.
   
   
   

6. Specify a Description.
   
   
   

7. Specify a Type.
   The "Inventory" option is used when costs will be pulled from actual item inventory values.
   The "Standard" option is used when you would like to specify specific values for items. 
   
   
   

8. Click the Items tab.
   
   
   

9. Click the second blank row (the one with an * at the beginning) and specify an Item #.
   If the Item selected is a Formula, the Formula checkbox will be automatically checked.
    

10. Optional: If the item selected is a Formula, specify a Formula Markup.
    
    
    

11. Optional: Add any additional Items to the grid by clicking on the bottom blank row.
    
    
    

12. Click the Save button in the ribbon bar.
