Mapping Formulas to Aeros LIVE

Use the general mapper to map formulas from the brill file (source) to what they are named in Aeros (target). 

Go to Settings --> Generic Mappings

*If they are the same code you can utilize the Auto Mapper.  Instructions for Auto Mapping.

Save the form and close.

 

Mapping Nutrients to Aeros LIVE

Map Nutrients from what the code is in the formula file to what the code is in Aeros LIVE Nutrient Types.

In CONNECT go to Settings --> Nutrient Mappings

 

Description: Enter the name of the nutrient.

Aeros LIVE Business Type:  Select what nutrient it should map to in Aeros LIVE

Is Percent:  Is this nutrient entered in as a percentage?  If this is not selected it will enter it as a whole value.

Is Calorie:  Is this a calorie?

******* Nutrient Code:  On the formula import what is the code used for this nutrient.

Save the form and close.

 

**For the Ridley File, Nutrients will need to be set up in the Generic Mapper.  See instructions here.

 Mapping Ingredients to Aeros ERP

Map Ingredients from what the code is in the formula file to what the code is in Aeros Ingredient item master.

In Connect go to Settings --> Generic Mappings

Creating a New Batch

To create a new formula batch, select the 'New Batch' button on the ribbon bar under Formulas from LCF.  If you would like to view an existing batch, select 'View Existing'.

 

Insert the file path, if it is not already there.  You may need to change the file name which needs to be included to pick up that particular file.

A Move Directory should also be included, to move the file out of the current folder so it does not get ran again.

**If you are set up to be able to utilize two formula imports, you will have a drop down selection to be able to select the file type that you want to import.

If you expand each row you will see the ingredients and nutrients that make up each formula.

Committing Batch to AeLIVE

Select Commit Batch to AeLIVE from the ribbon bar to transfer these formulas and their nutrients into Formula Management in Aeros LIVE.

If the formula already exist, it will not create a new formula, but create a new effective date.

Select Commit Batch to Aeros from the ribbon bar to transfer these formulas and their ingredients into the Formula Master in Aeros ERP.

If the formula already exist, it will not create a new formula, but create a new effective date.

 

You can tell if the formula was committed with its nutrients/ingredients to both Aeros LIVE and ERP, if the row is grayed out.  You can also tell by if the Processed by Aeros or Processed to AeLIVE check-box is checked.
