Instructions to Upload Reports to LIVE Application

1. Save the report that we sent you to somewhere you can find it on your applications server.

2. Go into LIVE

3. Go to Reporting

Note: If you want to overwrite an existing report, skip to step 7. Overwriting an existing report will keep your links and parameters intact. ( I suggest you test the new report before overwriting an existing report).

NEW REPORT

4. Right click on a report category that you want to put the report under.

5. Select Create New Report

Open

6. A dialog box will open up, here you will enter in a report name and choose what data-set the report will be using.  Usually if Aeros sends you a report, the data-set used will be the first few letters in the report name abbreviated ("HSE" = House Dataset, "TRDTL" = Transaction Detail).

Open

The report will then be located on the report tree.  

OVERWRITE EXISTING

7. Right click on the newly created report  (or the existing report you want to overwrite)

8. Select Edit Report

9. Once that opens, Select Portability

10. Select Import

11. Select the report that you saved on the server

12. Save the report

13. Close the report writer, you can click save again to make sure it saved.

You can now use the report

Don’t forget to set your parameters!
