Field Prefixes and Suffixes

Introduction

Report calculation prefixes group and categorize similar calculations. This allows them to appear next to each other in sorted data set lists. These calculations are likely to share the same prerequisite calculations, and similar rules for aggregating, averaging and rounding.

The report field suffixes indicate the range of data included in a specific calculation field. Not all fields will have all possible suffixes as there nature would make them redundant. If a calculation does not have a suffix it is a typical indication is calculation is not bound to period or report dates.
