Animal Day Calculation Proof (AeConnect)

Summary:

This article documents the usage of Animal Day Calculation Proof which can be found through Power User >  Animal Day Calculation Proof.

Once you navigate to the Animal Day Calculation Form, you will enter in the flock’s groupID.  You can enter one or more flocks in this field.  Separate multiple flock’s groupID’s by a comma.

Select Load and a list of flocks will populate.

NOTE:

This is a development tool created for proofing at Cultura and use requires technical users with knowledge and access to the AeLIVE user databases.

You can also enter in a Starting and Ending date Range that you want for those flocks you entered.  This is optional.  Again Select Load to populate your data.

The data that will populate in the grid on the left side for each day is the GroupID, HouseID, Date, Transaction Debits and Credits, Calculated Mortality, Head Start and End Date, and Animal Days.

In the right side of the form you will GroupID, Total Hen Days and Hen Day Percent for each group.  Total Hen Days for all groups is reflected at the bottom of this form.

Terms:

Group = Flock

Details of Calculations

Date: There is a record for each day between and including the first transaction.

Credits: From Placements and Relocations

Debits: From Culls, Sales, and Transfer Out.

Calculated Mortality:  How many days it has been since the last mortality record and divide the record by that many days.  Every record up till that date gets that amount.

Starting Head: The previous Day’s Ending Head.

Ending Head: Starting Head + Credits – Debits – Divided Mortality

Animal Days: Starting Head + Ending Head
