Headers are not necessary in the file, but the values we wish to import must be in a specific order, the values accepted by the import are:
Division | A valid division code |
Location | A valid location code |
Lot | A valid inventory lot with inventory balance to use |
Item Code | A valid item code |
Adjustment Code | A valid adjustment code |
Usage Quantity | the amount of inventory to be used |
Usage Pack | the weight of the amount to use |
Comment | An optional comment string stored in the resulting inventory record |
On opening the usage import, the user is first prompted to enter an Adjustment Date, Default Adjustment Code, Default Location Code, and File Name. The Adjustment Date and File Name must be filled out by the user. The Default Adjustment Code and Default Location Code are optional because they can be set in the import file. If the Adjustment and Location codes are set in the file, the file will take precedence. Any Adjustment or Location codes that are blank in the import file can be set by using the drop downs below.
