Catch Weights Can Now Be Accessed From the Customer Order Screen!

Available in Aeros ERP version 3.11.7+

In Aeros ERP 3.11 you now have the ability to enter catch weights directly from the customer order screen, instead of navigating to a completely different module.  This is a more efficient solution for users entering orders.

You can see the farthest right tab above the order lines is the new Catch Weight tab.  You will click this tab to start entering weights.

For any item that is designated as a catch weight in the item master, you will now see a grid where you can enter your weights.  The number of weights you can enter will match the number of units on the order.  You can enter a weight value in each of the fields, and navigate them using 10-key. 

Please note that weights will not appear on the Catch Weight tab until the order has been saved.

When it comes time to allocate the order, the catch weight values will be the amounts allocated, not the standard weight.  The Allocated Unit and Allocated Pack fields above will show the catch weight values, whereas the Units and Pack fields will show the requested/standard weights.

For those that do not want to add catch weights from the customer order screen, there is a separate area they can be entered.  Navigate to Orders>Utilities>Order Catch Weights.

From there you can search for you order and add your catch weights.  Once you save on this screen, the order will be updated with the catch weight values you entered.
