Create Work Orders

Use the Work Order process in conjunction with Formulas to relieve ingredients and to produce a finished product within inventory.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access the Work Order module.
     

  2. Click Work Order.
    You are automatically placed into a "Create New Work Order" mode.


  3. Specify a Production Date value.


  4. Select a Formula option.


  5. Optional: Override the Effective date option to use a different version of the currently selected Formula
    Note: By default the system will find the most recent Effective Date.


  6. Specify a Planned Production Units or Pack value. 


  7. Optional: Override the Actual Production Units or Pack values if desired. 


  8. Optional: Specify a Comment / Notes value.


  9. Optional: Specify a Lot Number value.
    Note: If this field is disable, this is a Division Master setting (TODO: Research what field)
    If left blank, the Lot Number will become the same as the Work Order #.


  10. Specify an Adjustment Code option.


  11. Specify a Destination inventory location option.


  12. Optional: Specify a Destination Bin option. 


  13. Optional: Check the Transfer Inventory checkbox.


  14. Optional: Check the Use Inventory checkbox. 


  15. Click Save
