Plan out your upcoming Feed Deliveries with Feed Plan

Available in Aeros LIVE version 1.45+

Aeros LIVE has a new feed planning process.  A flock's feed plan will be generated on placement, and will be maintained and edited throughout the life a flock.

It is similar to the existing feed schedule process but the feed plan gives the user the ability to see upcoming deliveries for the life of the flock.   Those deliveries will then appear in our feed order form generated for a day or specified length of time to commit feed orders for the day.  Once those feed orders are actualized they will become feed deliveries.

It gives the user flexibility in rescheduling deliveries.

This process estimates consumption requirements at discrete intervals from the first placement up to the end of the flock's projected life and determines when feed should be ordered, how much feed, of what formula, and what additives to include.  The result is a list of feed plan records dated from the beginning to the end of the flock's life.  A feed plan is a record that specifies when to make a delivery, what kind of feed, and why it is required.  Feed plans are generated for flock/house units.  A flock/house is the the set of birds located in a specific house and assigned to a flock.

This view will allow us to search for many feed plan records across multiple dates, using filtering criteria. Once we find the records that suit our search we can review them and finally mark them as committed, meaning they are certified and ready to be entered as orders, and ultimately sent to the feed mill.  Only Feed Plans whose records have been approved will show up in the Feed Order form.  Feed plans that have been newly created, and not approved, as well as the initial snapshot records taken on approval will not appear on the feed order form.

The feed plan process projects a flock's daily consumption from consumption standard system tables assigned to the flock.

Standard Mortality tables adjust the flock's future population and thus adjust the flock's consumption total.

Feed Profile Goals are used to switch feed types, the system currently has three profile goal types; consumption, age and body weight.
