  • Code.  Create a code that corresponds to the Feed Produle. This code must be unique 
  • Description. A description of the Feed Profile the user wishes to input.
  • Effective Date.  The date the Feed Profile becomes in use.
  • Sex. The sex associated to the Feed Profile.
  • Status. Whether the Feed Profile is currently active or inactive. This field will default to the system default of active.
  • Relations. Sets the Company/Divisions and the Industry Types the Feed Profile is associated with.


  • Criterion:

Consumption Goal:The average weight Units per head which a flock/house must consume to complete this profile item and move to the next one.
Target AgeThe age in which the profile item becomes effective.  Reaching this age indicates the profile item is complete
Body WeightThe body weight that the bird must reach to complete this profile item and move to the next one.










  • Feed Type:  High level feed categories to which formulas are grouped based on the flock's growth stage.  Formulas can vary, but it is critical that flocks receive the right feed type at the right time.
  • Formula:  A specific formulation of a feed type.  Formulas specify the proportion of different ingredients and nutrients contained.  Formulas are only recommendations, and feed mills or farms may opt to substitute similar formulas of the same feed type in feed deliveries.
  • Maximum Delivery Size: Optional configuration.  The largest size a delivery can be.  It is usually determined by the truck size.  This value is checked against total deliveries in a day
  • Minimum Delivery Size: The smallest size delivery the feed plan process can generate.  A delivery smaller than the minimum will get rolled over
  • Delivery Weight UOM: The unit of measure for the maximum and minimum delivery sizes values. 
  • Withdrawal Days: The minimum number of days prior to the end of the flock's that the profile item's feed type must be applied.
  • Feed Buffer:  Determines the feed amount in weight or in time which should be allowed when the next delivery is made.  Used to calculated the adjusted delivery date
  • Feed Buffer UOM: The feed buffer's unit measure.  It can be a valid weight or time.
  • Maximum Feed Supply Days: Maximum number of days allowed between deliveries.
  • Delivery Time Prior to 1st Placement: The amount time in the specified time unit of measure prior to subtracted from the first placement date.  The first delivery to a house will be scheduled for the same date/time as the first placement unless this value is configured.
