Configuration
...
A user with admin rights / Power User rights will need to enable the feature, It will be under the "Data Synchronization: Vendor" node in the tree.
Settings → User Profiles
For each user that can review these batches, we'll need to grant them security access.
Creating and Updating Vendors (ERP)
...
We'll also pass any vendors over that have been updated, as long as they are marked "Send to manager Plus" as well.
Creating and Committing Batches (Connect)
...
When we are ready to proceed, we'll click "Import / Create batch"
Any vendors that we have created or updated since the last import batch date will be included in the batch. We use the record's "RowModifyDate" to determine which to batch.
...
If a row fails to send, we can see any error messages in the "Commit Results" tab.
When we commit the records, we'll see that the "Merge Type" field was updated. This will give us an indicator that the record was newly inserted into Manager Plus, or updated because it had already existed.
Viewing Vendors in Manager Plus
...
We can search this screen here to look up our vendors.
We can double-click the vendors to view detailed info that we inserted or updated.
Scheduling Batches
...
- DataSyncVendorPull: Create a schedule item of this type to automatically create batches of items.
- DataSyncVendorPush: Create a schedule item of this type to automatically commit them to Manager Plus.
