Instructions for Importing Chilson’s Feed Deliveries into AIMAeLive

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

1. In AIMAeLive, Navigate to System è Data Imports è Data Import Schedules
2. Click Add New.

1. On your computer, create 2 folders, one for AIM AeLive to pick up files, and one to place processed files.  Here is an example of how I do this on my computer (I am putting it on the desktop, but you can do this in “My Documents” or anywhere you wish:
   1.                                                                i.      Right Click and click new, folder. 
      1. I named my folder CMCFEED

1.  2.  Then I open that folder, and create another one named “PROCESSED” within that CMCFEED folder (you can put it wherever you want, this is just what I do.)

b. Navigate Back to AIM AeLive and we will select these folders

1. Export data from Chilsons
2. Place the export file into the “Source Folder” you created
3. Open Data Imports
4. Navigate to the CMCFEED import you created
5. Click the gear on the top right hand corner of the screen (with a green arrow)
6. Watch it process
   1. AIM AeLive will move the file from CMCFEED to the PROCESSED folder, and rename it by appending a date time stamp to the beginning of the file name.
7. View your feed deliveries by selecting flocks and verifying the feed delivery is correct.
