Install EDI HQ on application server

   . Once the EDIHQ application has been purchased, you will have access to EDIHQ_Setup.exe and the license key to install EDI HQ

Once the application is successfully installed, the following message will be displayed.

Create new database for EDIHQ in SQL Management Tools.

      From SQL Server Management Studio > right click on Databases > New Database > Type in the Database name > click OK.

Create 32/64 Bit ODBC Data Source for Aeros ERP.

1. From the Server where EDIHQ application was installed > Search in Administrative Tools folder > Open the appropriate ODBC Data Sources (32-bit or 64-bit).

     7. If the connection is successfully established, the following window will be displayed.

Create new EDIHQ Data Source pointing to MSSQL.

     1. Open EDIHQ application > Setup > Data Sources.

     10. Highlight the database that you just create and check the Default check box > click Close.

Create ODBC Connection objects in EDIHQ for Aeros ERP's EDI tables.

Tools > Current Data Source Settings > Integration Settings.

   Click on the Test Connection button to confirm that the connection has been established succesfully.
   If the test is successful, the following screen will be displayed.
   
   
   
   
2. Setup connection to EDI_POHeader table.
   Click on the Test Connection button to confirm that the connection has been established succesfully.
   
   
   
   
3. Setup connection to EDI_PODetail table.
   Click on the Test Connection button to confirm that the connection has been established succesfully.
   
   
   
   
4. Setup connection to EDI_Transmission table.
   Click on the Test Connection button to confirm that the connection has been established succesfully.

Create File definitions for Outbound documents.

Create Inbound File definition.

 

Create 882 DSD Summary (If needed).

Create Processes.

Create Jobs for Inbound and Outbound Processes.

Create Triggers for Jobs.
